Guelph Mobile Dev Meetup

I’m way behind in my blog posts. I may be posting several over the next day or two. I need to get back into the habit of posting smaller things more regularly. My apologies.

First up, I wanted to make sure as many people as possible had heard about the Guelph Mobile Developer Meetup I’m trying to get going. The first one is this Wednesday night (April 21st, 2010) at 7:00pm at the Woolwich Arms (now called the Woolwich Arrow) in Guelph.

Full details (including a map) can be found on the event’s EventBrite page:

Come on out, chat with other local developers, have a beer and a good time! If you do mobile development or design, or are interested in starting, come meet other people doing the same thing in your local community. It’s a great chance to meet other people who are doing the same thing you are. Want to talk about the new iPhone SDK agreement terms, or about your sadness at not having iPads in Canada yet, or explain to the iPhone developers why Windows Mobile/Android/BlackBerry development is so much better? Now’s your chance!

One final thing: I mention on the eventbrite page to please sign up so I have an idea of how many people are coming. The Woolwich Arms recommended that I make a reservation, so I need to know how many people to reserve for. Either sign up on the eventbrite page, leave a comment here, or send me an email at info AT streamingcolour.com and let me know.

If you’re local, please help spread the word to any of your friends who might be interested. Hope to see you there!
