September 2nd, 2009
It’s been 2 weeks, but it’s time for another episode of the Streaming Colour Video Blog. This week I talk about the new texture atlas and bitmap font systems and show what the textures look like.

I am following your blogg with lots of interest, could you please mention the toolset you generally use for your designing your artwork? Also I have not written a game since the Amiga days with ‘AMOS’, so is there any chance of code snippets / tips as you go? Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing it on the app store to support your efforts
@Rob – I’m glad you’re enjoying the posts. I just use a regular image editor. Any one will do: Photoshop, the Gimp, any other image editor. Some people really like working with vector art (like Adobe Illustrator or Flash uses), but I’ve never been good enough with those tools to produce anything decent.
For my last game I worked with a contract artist, but I’m not sure what her work flow was like.
