Good decision on using Box2D. I use it for Jiggle Balls and it has proven to be a good decision. The collision detection is great. The work that Simon Oliver (Rolondo) did is great. I’ve modified it a bit (and added userdata to all my objects). From there it’s pretty easy to take the underlying objects and represent them via OpenGL in your animation loop. I’m working on a game based around the Jiggle Balls theme that should be coming out later this summer. I wish you luck in your endeavor.
